Metal Master HP - Additional Details
Nine configurations - There's a Metal Master High Performance cutter for every job. Nine configurations in five standard diameters, from 2" to 6" (50 to 150mm)
Deep Pocket design - Rigid support for entire circumference of the insert.
Adjustable insert heights - Simple, easy indicating of individual Frustum inserts allows operator to maximize surface finishes up to 16m in. (0.4mm) Ra or better.
Rigid Body - Built for maximum rigidity. Minimizes deflection, which might result in poor surface finish.
Solid Shield - Surrounds insert and directs cutting force into solid body. Much safer in operation.
Posi-Grip inserts - Unique 12-point insert location system allows you to control the number of indexes - up to 24 times per insert. (Note: 1/2" Posi-Grip Frustum inserts are required with Metal Master HP cutters).
Quick Indexing - Indexing is done quickly and easily right on the machine. Simply loosen the screw, rotate insert, tighten screw. Minimizes your non-production downtime.
Standard mounting - Adaptable to all CNC and other milling machines. Lightweight enough to be used in automatic tool changers.
